Here we are. At the end of another wonderful summer! So far it is my favorite because I got to spend it with my favorite person and soul mate and my beautiful baby. What could be better than that? Anyways, we have had a great summer. It started out with us having tons of constant fun with our friends at home, then we went to a family reunion in Brighton, Utah with 45+ aunts, uncles and cousins on my moms side. That was a lot of fun, but could have been more fun for me because half way through I got the most awful stomach flu and missed out on a lot of the fun activities because I was stuck in bed or the bathroom. Which is why I don't have any pictures of it. Boo. Then we came back to our home town in WA where Richard has been job shadowing dentists (the hours are part of dental school applications). He has really enjoyed himself and is even more excited to be a dentist. Yesterday he job shadowed an Oral Surgeon and he loved it! He was so excited about it, he wouldn't stop talking about it. Who knows......but while Richard isn't job shadowing we have had tons of fun doing our summer traditions here in BEAUTIFUL WA! Here are some of our favorites:
1. Swimming in the rivers and enjoying the scenery
2. Berry picking!!
3. Going to the most beautiful lake ever

After the family swam in that perfect water, we found a camp site along the lake and had a BBQ
Liam loved playing with the moss on the ground while we cooked dinner!
Now for a game of "Wheres Richard"...
There he is! :) Isn't it pretty? These pictures don't even do it justice...
4. Going on hikes/walks
|
5. Playing games and watching movies with the fam
It's been a lot of fun here with my family! Liam loves all of the attention he is getting too. He always has someone loving on him or playing with him. He is the most popular person in the house, for sure! My littlest sister is probably his biggest fan. They are less than 5 years apart and she just adores him. She knows that he is her nephew, but I think in her little girl heart she thinks of him as a little brother. They are buddies.
And because I am always excited to hear of other peoples traditions so we can make some new ones,
What are your favorite summer traditions??
O and GUESS WHAT?! Liam is 7 MONTHS OLD today! I am planning to write up his 7 month update soon...hopefully before he is 7 1/2 months! :)

It looks lke you guys have had such an awesome summer thus far! That's great! You guys sure do lots of outdoorsy things! Some of our favorite summer traditions are BBQing, going on walks together in the evening, and watching TV series.
P.S. Did you dye your hair darker? That one picture of you with Liam at the lake makes your hair look much darker than I remember! Either way, it looks great!
