First picnic of summer

Can you tell by the squints we aren't used to the sun? :)

Before school started again for Richard the weather started to get beautiful and so we had our first picnic of the summer! It was so nice to go outside with a lunch and lay out under the sun! This has been a long time coming and we are so glad that summer is almost here (except, what's happening lately?! WARM UP!!) and hopefully will stay for a couple months. In fact the next day after our first picnic, we went outside on another beautiful day with another picnic and Richard missed the sun so much he laid out side for two hours. Needless to say, he was lobster style until it turned to a tan! It's about time! Our goal this summer is that I will make a picnic on pretty days and we will have lunch under the sun at the park!

We thought this was cool! Someone had put this on a tree close to where we set up our picnic! Ironic!
