Time flies

We have been in high baby-prep mood lately...we have washed and put away all her clothes, blankets, burp clothes; re-organized our room to make way for her bed; and brought out all the other newborn necessities from our storage. Honestly, we only have a few things left to do before she comes! Some of which are:

• Finish packing our hospital bags
• Hook her car seat into the car
• Set-up her bassinet in our room

It's nice to have almost everything ready and still have a month left! All the things we have left to do are really fast and could be done in less than an hour, just in case.

Anyways, one of the newborn things we brought out was Liams old vibrating chair. As soon as he saw it he fell in love. He climbed in and has been playing with it every chance he gets! He calls it "baby" (because it's a baby chair) and will sometimes just leave the music or wave sounds playing while he plays with other things. If we turn it off because we think he is done with it, he just walks over and turns it back on! :) 

But seeing him in there was bitter sweet. I remember when he would sit in it when he was only a couple days old and look around, then when he would take naps in it when he was 2 months old, and play in it when he was 4 months old. He grew out of it pretty fast because he was so big, and it was kind of eerie to see him trying to sit in it and hardly fitting. It hit me that he is a big boy and how much has changed in the past 1 1/2 years!

And now at 17 months old, still enjoying it just as much...

Heres a video of him playing with it! He woke up from his nap and immediately went to play with it! Silly boy :)
